Words for the Season You’re In: A Writing Workshop for Parents of Neurodivergent Kids

$50.00

April 17, 2025 at 12 pm EST/9 am PST

Parenting neurodivergent kids means holding so much—love, exhaustion, advocacy, self-discovery, and all the questions that come with it. It can feel overwhelming to sit down and process it all alone, but writing can be a powerful way to make sense of your experiences, honor your efforts, and even find moments of joy.

This 90-minute generative workshop is a space for parents to reflect, create, and connect through gentle, accessible writing prompts. Whether you’re navigating new diagnoses, exploring your own neurodivergence, or simply moving through the daily highs and lows, this is an opportunity to pause, write, and recognize the incredible work you do.

Through a mix of micro-memoir, dialogue, and poetry, we’ll:

  • Capture small but significant parenting moments

  • Reflect on what we admire in our children—and in ourselves

  • Imagine a conversation with our past selves before we knew what we know now

  • Write about the everyday objects and rituals that anchor us

No writing experience necessary—just bring yourself, your story, and whatever season you’re in.

Additional Details:

📩 Workshop details will be emailed to you within 48 hours of your purchase. You’ll also get an email reminder the day before the call. 📩

After the workshop, all participants will receive the prompts from the session via email, plus three additional writing prompts. If you’re unable to join live, you will still receive all of the prompts via email.

🛑 To protect confidentiality, this session will not be recorded. 🛑
